Plano Tecnológico

In Portugal, the current Government, made during the election a promise of creating a 'Choque Tecnológico'. The get a start a board of wise was created. They finished last week their work. A paper (sintese) of 400 pages with means to realize this choque. The only choque that came was that the minister didn't like what he saw/read/heard and fired the chief of this board (he resigned himself, yeah, yeah (or pois, pois)). Last weekend the rest of this board resigned also. A whole discussion is started in Portugal, with a lot of people saying their things. And of course another board is established, with no less then 41 wise men.

There is only one problem. Most of them, like the old board are economical educated people. And we already know that Portugal has such fine economical educated people at the top. That is way the financial state of Portugal is so solid, pois, pois.

But why does nobody talk about:
"People as value for innovation, for companies, for creating the choque";
"Changing the attitude of companies, people and government";
"Redesigning processes in companies and governmental organisation";

The processes and the people are who make the choque and not economical and theoretical ideas.

Huge gap in Internet use Portugal

According to a study from Eurostat the students in Portugal indeed use Internet for pleasure and hopefully research and knowledge sharing (although this studies doesn't reveil this information). The oldery or less educated uses rarely the benefits of Internet. Knowing that a lot of those students leave portugal (see earlier notice) after finishing their study, the gap will keep on existing. No one to teach and help less educated and no one to become old for using Internet. As Portugal has to reform their administration and is obligated to use more online-transaction you can ask youself how is going to use it. Education and teaching and telling the benefits is a job to do the next year, next to ofcourse establish the goals of Europe.
